Apart from the knowledge that the event imparts, provision is also made for cash and other consolation prizes as part of the welfare package for the participants.

By institutionalizing this annual competition, we seek to achieve the following objectives:

To Deepen the Knowledge of Legal Terminologies

Deepen the knowledge, study and discourse of legal terminologies among young lawyers;

Another Platform For Legal Education

Serve as another platform for continuing legal education among young lawyers;

Encourage

Serve as an avenue to encourage and improve the welfare of young lawyers especially with the prizes to be won and potential career opportunities open to the successful participants.

Rewards

Reward the study, mastery and improved knowledge of legal terminologies among young lawyers

The first edition was held in June 2018 at the Onikan Youth Centre where 10 finalists contested for the ultimate prize of N250, 000 and law pavilion electronic law report as the first prize.

Temidayo Adewoye, Esq. of Perchstone and Graeys won the first edition in a keenly contested competition that saw Morisola Alaba emerge the 1st runner up winning N150, 000 and Omowunmi Akimuleya winning the 2nd runner up (N100, 000).
